Building Business Resilience
This page brings together content related to our Building Business Resilience project, which aims to support businesses to stay in business whatever the weather. It provides practical guidance, free workshops, case studies, awards and stimulates discussion about how to manage increasingly frequent extreme weather events through business continuity, risk management, health and safety and climate projections. It was commissioned by the Environment Agency (Midlands) and delivered in partnership with Sustainability West Midlands, Staffordshire Business Environment Network, Business in the Community, local authorities, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and businesses who are kindly hosting events.
The project is described here in more detail.
The summary programme of 12 business workshops (Nov 2012 - April 2013) across East and West Midlands can be downloaded here.
Details of the East Midlands Business Resilience Award 2013 with Business in the Community (there is an equivalent West Midlands version). The closing date has now passed.
