Risk assessment
The upper-tier and unitary Local Authorities in the East Midlands have conducted service area risk assessments, using UKCP09 as a basis for understanding how the climate is likely to change. The upper-tier Local Authorities have also supported most of their District and Borough Councils to do the same.

East Midlands Local Authority risk assessment outputs
Many of the Local Authorities have produced summaries of their risk assessment findings for their senior management and Elected Members. Some examples are below:
- Northamptonshire County Council and the Northamptonshire Districts have published a series of reports that document their progress against former NI 188, including summaries of their risk assessments. View the reports here.
- Leicestershire County Council's report to Cabinet by the Director of Environment and Transport, 9th March 2010. View the report here, scroll down to Item 141. Appendix 1 provides a summary of the risk assessment findings for council service delivery. Appendix 2 provides a summary of the risk assessment findings against Local Strategic Partnership objectives.
