°Climate East Midlands is one of nine publicly funded Climate Change Partnerships in the English regions, consisting of a number of East Midlands based organisations, working together to coordinate action on the causes and consequences of climate change. We are hosted by East Midlands Councils in Melton Mowbray and support action region-wide to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the risks of a changing climate. We also help to capture the local economic opportunities of climate action, in support of UK Government policy. We also work collectively with our counterparts, including those in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in a national network called Climate UK which is also a Community Interest Company.
