Peer Learning in Derbyshire, 17 Sept 2015
Home Events Peer Learning in Derbyshire, 17 Sept 2015
Join us at the Derbyshire Eco-Centre in picturesque Middleton-by-Wirksworth for the latest in our popular series of Peer Learning events with and for local authorities and their partners. This event is hosted by Derbyshire County Council, who will present a selection of their work, highlighting their successes and challenges and inviting you to ask questions and compare experiences.
Previous hosts have included Northamptonshire County Council, Derby City Council, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and a jointly hosted event between three Leicestershire district councils, Blaby, North West Leicestershire and Hinckley and Bosworth. Participants have found this peer to peer learning approach extremely valuable in terms of the learning, reflection and follow up opportunities provided.
The all-day programme (10 - 3.30) will include:
- Derbyshire Climate Change Charter (2014-2019)
- Ground Mounted Solar PV Project
- Derbyshire Sustainable Travel Initiatives
- Eco Centre Tour
- Healthy Homes Project
- Flood Risk Management Strategy
