HomeEventsMasterclass: Business Planning and ESCo development

The 6th in our programme of Decentralised Energy Masterclasses with the Carbon Trust  examines the role of Energy Services Companies (ESCos) in helping to roll out large scale renewable energy schemes in local authority areas. Contributors include Aecom, Nottingham Energy Partnership and E-on, who will look at how ESCos have been developed and used in the East Midlands and elsewhere for district heating and wind power. The session will also discuss the outputs from the project, including case study examples, and conclude with a look at next steps and new opportunities - including the bid for Elena funding from the European Investment Bank currently being developed by Climate East Midlands in conjunction with local authorities.

The Masterclass is free to East Midlands local authority participants and is on Tuesday 6th March at the Notts Deaf Society in Nottingham.
