Leicester City Council's third annual Low Carbon Lecture is on 19th November and will feature Prof Paul Ekins OBE, Professor of Resources and Environmental Policy at University College London who will be discussing his research on ‘Un-burnable Oil’ as well as exploring the importance of the upcoming COP21 climate conference in Paris.
The event takes place at the recently refurbished City Hall (115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ) from 5 - 8pm and will:
- Provide an opportunity to raise the profile of the issues surrounding climate change
- Provide a platform for expertise to be shared and disseminated
- Celebrate Leicester’s progress and achievements thus far, in delivering Climate Change action
