Inspiring Leaders - support for elected members

The Climate Change Skills Programme is a £1m support programme for local government , funded by DCLG via East Midlands Improvement and Efficiency Partnership and coordinated by Climate East Midlands, your Climate Change Partnership. It has helped to build essential skills, knowledge and capacity amongst councils to support them in tackling the local causes and consequences of climate change.

We would like to invite elected members and portfolio holders to celebrate the achievements of the programme and to have the opportunity to hear about the experiences, the wealth of resources and case studies that have been generated during the last year. 

Five events will take place over February and March - and we would be pleased to work with you to build upon this by providing pre-council brieifng sessions and member development sessions which can be tailored to your requirements.  In addition we would like to develop a series of visits to inspiring locations to demonstrate the achievements that have been made.  Please download more information here.
