Climate East Midlands is hosting one of 7 satellite events for the Adaptation Sub Committee's 2014 annual report to Parliament. The focus of this report is on climate risks to infrastructure, buildings and health. The Nottingham event is aimed at local adaptation stakeholders in the East Midlands who have responsibilities and interests in those 3 areas from the public, private and higher education sectors.

The satellite event will include a live streamed link to ASC Chair Lord Krebs presenting the Parliamentary report in London. Participants in Nottingham will be able to ask questions and discuss the local implications of the report's findings.

The event is on Wednesday 9th July, 9-12 (provisional timings to be confirmed) at Nottingham Conference Centre (part of Nottingham Trent University's city centre campus and near the NTU tram stop).

It's free to attend and booking is online via Eventbrite http://asclaunch.eventbrite.co.uk/
