Climate UK is working in partnership with SFEDI and the Environment Agency's Climate Ready service to provide a national training programme in the use of the Business Resilience Health Check tool. In the East Midlands, two free half-day workshops will take place on 31st March 2014, in Nottingham. Workshop participants will be able to gain formal accreditation to use the tool with their clients.

Who are the workshops for?

These workshops are for people working in business support roles such as insurance brokers and accountants, or organisations such as the FSB and Chambers of Commerce.

Accreditation

The accredited training is provided by SFEDI (the Small Firms Development Initiative), which is the UK Sector Skills Body for Enterprise. The programme is funded by the Environment Agency's Climate Ready service.

The Business Resilience Health Check tool

The tool was originally developed by Climate North East, and has since been revamped by Climate UK. It has been used extensively with businesses around the country to help improve their resilience. www.businessresiliencehealthcheck.co.uk
